I’m not exactly sure what “gift” President Obama was referring to, but unless he’s delusional, it
isn’t his governing skills.
Those who are still hypnotized eleven months after the election of Dear Leader may not have
noticed, but the man who manipulates the teleprompter and looks temperately placid, has a
decidedly diabolical persona toward his electorate. He hires people like Mark Lloyd for the FCC
who worships Hugo Chavez and his revolutionary control of the press. Then there’s the self-
acclaimed Communist and Black Liberationist Van Jones. Sadly for Valery Jarrett and Barack
Obama, Van decided to resign, against the President’s wishes--of course.
Barack doesn’t like to be criticized. The only ones who have dared opine opposite the mainstream
world of Obama flunkies soon feel the wrath of other Obama toadies. Just last weekend CNN fact-
checked a comedy skit on Barack aired on SNL. I’d like to fact check how many SNL Bush
sketches were examined for truth and fairness over his eight years and beyond.
Just ask Fox News’s gentle but competent anchor Chris Wallace. After Obama slighted his show
for every other venue including the Letterman orgy, and Oxygen Channel, Chris said the Obama
White House is, “…the biggest bunch of crybabies I’ve ever seen.”
President Obama, forever on stage and on our TVs (except Fox,) and radios, is beginning to bore
even his staunchest supporters. If he were a TV show he’d be cancelled…mid-season of his first
year.
His campaign and it is a continuous campaign, have replaced what he was elected to do, run the
country. Instead we have created a world wide carpetbagger with trillions of our dollars in his back
pocket and keys to all sorts of nifty carbon destroying vehicles, like AF1.
After shoveling our republic under the bus at the UN, as he’s done in tens of speeches throughout
the world, is there any doubt that Barack Hussein Obama has assumed a god-like presence?
In short, the veneer of superstardom has receded. What we have left is a young man with no
experience, a racial chip on his shoulder and a messiah complex. He’s imposing wild, hypnotic
idealisms that accomplish not a whit of the justice they falsely acclaim. Instead, they’re meant to
knock everyone down to one low level, except, of course, the ruling class, of which he now lords
over.
Since our educational system has added brainwashing to school curriculums, I thought I’d add my
“gift.” Hey, it’s for the kids:

Have you read the BS about Obama winning the Peace Prize. I always thought that that group were
a little whacked out but this tops it. He has proposed little substantive and accomplished zilch.

should be proud that he or any one in this country should receive this award. What is wrong with
you people anyway? Would you be happy to see the country completely fail, go into a depression
and have to establish soup kitchens again? Be happy that someone is finally doing something rather

find Obama invading a country and wasting our wealth and the lives of our young soldiers like Bush

efforts. Not for 'promises' as one report quotes.
I am not necessarily proud of anyone who receives unearned awards or accolades. That is my

they have proven successful.
More often, the prize is awarded to encourage those who receive it to see the effort through,
sometimes at critical moments.

person like you that has never served his country in any capacity and only thinks of how he can

Dave, I've read all the comments (in chronological order, even!), and no-where do I see anything
even remotely anti-Semitic from Shorttimer. You get quite angry when people say or infer things
about you and your business, evening threatening lawsuits, slander, and libel. Are you angry
because he said he isn't going back to your McDonald's, and encouraged others to do the same? I
know quite a few people who have said that, myself included (and I haven't been back in nearly a
year). Isn't that capitalism? If you don't agree with a service or an owner of that service, you have a
right to take your business elsewhere, and you have a right to encourage other people with your
same viewpoints to do the same. I believe that's even called a boycott, and is employed quite
heavily by groups run by James Dobson and Donald Wildman (though they enjoy tax exempt
status to promote their boycotts, so that's not exactly capitalism).
You accuse Shorttimer of being an anti-Semite. You've cursed in these posts, called him a flunky,
inferred he is lying about his military service to our country, and called him a coward. He's not the
first person you have verbally attacked, and I'm sure he won't be the last. You aren't keeping it
clean, you aren't being honest and accurate, and you are using personal attacks. By my count, you
have broken a few 'Pool Rules.' And before you say something like 'Well, he said it first' or 'He
started it.' Remember, you are an adult.
You set quite the double standard here, Dave. Why is it ok for you to personally attack someone
else on these posts when they do not agree with you? Why is it ok for you to call people cowards,
racists, flunkies, etc etc. Why is it ok for your to call our president 'Nappy' or say things like 'hip
hop' when referring to him (or call him a racist, a predator, or the emperor of a socialist monarchy)?
Why is it we are expected to accept YOUR apologies and explanations for what you meant, but
when you make an assumption about what someone has said about you, you either threaten
lawsuits or you start attacking personally?

It's always harder to get stuff done when you actually follow the rules. Do we want President
Obama following the rules? Well, really, yes.
Secondly, it's always harder to fix things than to ruin them. It takes a second to break a leg, a month
to heal. Despite how great it'd be in the short-term, President Obama cannot just pull out all troops
from the Middle East. He can't just throw a budget and plan at Congress and make them sign it. He
doesn't have a magic economic wand that creates jobs and starts the flow of money. 8 years of
wanton pillaging of the coffers of America cannot be undone so quickly.
I guess Dave and I had different textbooks in our US Government classes in public school, because
as it turns out, the President actually has limited power to get stuff done. According to the rules,
he's part of the Executive Branch, which means he carries out the law, but doesn't make it. He was
handed a crappy economy, 2 wars, a dismantled government, and a health-care system in shambles.
Fixing even one problem would be tough, but after 9 months, we're expected to shame him for not
putting all of his eggs in one basket?
At least he hasn't slashed environmental initiatives, started two wars, nominated conservatives to
the Supreme Court, ignored a disaster in New Orleans, pulled out of the Kyoto Treaty, fired nine
US attorneys for political reasons, outed a CIA spy for political reasons, tortured prisoners, signed
the Patriot Act, promoted creationism in the classroom, accused of treason anyone who disagreed
with him, and treated the worst terrorist attack in US history happening on his watch as though it
meant we should trust him with keeping us safe.

You set quite the double standard here, Dave. Why is it ok for you to personally attack someone
else on these posts when they do not agree with you? Why is it ok for you to call people cowards,
racists, flunkies, etc etc. Why is it ok for your to call our president 'Nappy' or say things like 'hip
hop' when referring to him (or call him a racist, a predator, or the emperor of a socialist monarchy)?
Why is it we are expected to accept YOUR apologies and explanations for what you meant, but
when you make an assumption about what someone has said about you, you either threaten
lawsuits or you start attacking personally?

be pretty conservative if not even right wing. Any more it seems that just about everyone can cry

It's always harder to get stuff done when you actually follow the rules. Do we want President
Obama following the rules? Well, really, yes.
Secondly, it's always harder to fix things than to ruin them. It takes a second to break a leg, a month
to heal. Despite how great it'd be in the short-term, President Obama cannot just pull out all troops
from the Middle East. He can't just throw a budget and plan at Congress and make them sign it. He
doesn't have a magic economic wand that creates jobs and starts the flow of money. 8 years of
wanton pillaging of the coffers of America cannot be undone so quickly.
I guess Dave and I had different textbooks in our US Government classes in public school, because
as it turns out, the President actually has limited power to get stuff done. According to the rules,
he's part of the Executive Branch, which means he carries out the law, but doesn't make it. He was
handed a crappy economy, 2 wars, a dismantled government, and a health-care system in shambles.
Fixing even one problem would be tough, but after 9 months, we're expected to shame him for not
putting all of his eggs in one basket?
At least he hasn't slashed environmental initiatives, started two wars, nominated conservatives to
the Supreme Court, ignored a disaster in New Orleans, pulled out of the Kyoto Treaty, fired nine
US attorneys for political reasons, outed a CIA spy for political reasons, tortured prisoners, signed
the Patriot Act, promoted creationism in the classroom, accused of treason anyone who disagreed
with him, and treated the worst terrorist attack in US history happening on his watch as though it
meant we should trust him with keeping us safe.
