and The Prophet

As my wife poured over the internet news last night, just before we fell asleep, I
heard muffled weeping sounds coming from her side of the bed. We had just
arrived home from a night of joviality with good friends. I asked, somewhat
defensively, what was wrong. She pointed to an article about a British educator that
had volunteered to teach Sudanese children.
It appears that the teacher is the one who was taught the lesson, one she may yet
be killed over.
As I write, Gillian Gibbons, a 54 year old Liverpool mother of two, is back in Britain,
pardoned by Sudan President, al-Bashir. She languished in an African jail for over
a week while awaiting lashes. She could have gotten six months and even more of
a thrashing.
While she sat in jail, 10,000 Sudanese fanatics, many with machetes, knives, and
swords were outside her prison screaming for her execution. If she was let go on
the streets of Sudan, surely she’d be lynched. Some Muslim clerics had urged the
hoards to rail for her head, literally.
Her capital crime?
She asked her class to vote on a name for a harmless teddy bear, with a visible
heart on his chest. One child, seven year old Mohammad, opined for his own
name. The class voted and voila, Mohammad the Teddy Bear became a reality.
Of course the founder of Islam is also named “Mohammad” and this, according to
the most rigid of his minions, is cause plus for a ritual beheading.
All this occurred in a country where government sponsored genocide in Darfur on
the western border, has been unrepentantly executed for the last five years.

Bravely, the boy tried to take the blame as the instigator, defending Mrs. Gibbons
and classmates. This courageous lad should set an example to the Muslim world.
We’re not talking rocket science here. It’s obvious that there was no intent on
anyone’s part to insult the Prophet.
This is a huge opportunity for moderate Muslims to support Mohammad the child
against the nuts that now control their religion. This act was so outrageous it’s as
of G-d set the moderates up for a slam dunk.
If Muslims don’t live up to their responsibility to rid themselves of their fanatical
leadership, they become the Germans that let Hitler rise, the Russians that didn’t
oust Stalin, and the Japanese that were silent while their Emperor tried to conquer
the world. In the end, millions and millions of ordinary krauts, Ruskies, and Japs,
were killed because they ignored their madmen. Eventually the world, led by the
USA, vanquished the nuts. In WW2 over 62 million were killed. Many were the
meek that allowed evil to grow in their midst.
The rise in Islamofacism is in direct proportion to the tolerance of Muslim
moderates. It’s why the US and coalition forces are fighting them in their own
backyards.
Europe will have to act given the Islamic population explosion in their countries.
They can’t stomach too many more terror attacks on their soil.
That kind of tolerance is only supposed to be for the USA.
Moderate Muslims there are toying with disaster. Europe is schooled in the efficient
lining up of minorities and having their way with them.
Just ask the Jews, the ones that survived the Holocaust, that is.
What it comes down to is this, “When you see an evil act you have to stop it with
your hand. If you can’t, then at least speak out against it with your tongue. If you can’
t, then at least you have to hate it with all your heart. And this is the weakest of faith.”
