The Party of Conspiracy
By Dave Weinbaum
It appears that there may be a need for the Fairness Doctrine after all. At an NAACP
forum, last week, the Democratic frontrunners, Hillary and Edwards, agreed to meet
and discuss the banishment of about half of their competition.
Will this be by election? Are they going to offer them a VP or cabinet spots if they
kindly step out? Do they have to send back all the money their backers gave via
their First Amendment Rights?
This unilateral adulteration of Democracy may take place because these 2 snooty
elitists are determined, on their own, to dictate who can partake in televised
debates. Most importantly, did Hillary and John consult the American people or
even those in their own party about their scheme?
Last time I looked, we had elections to eliminate or promote politicians. In this
case we have the Democratic Party primaries. We don’t drop candidates because
some glitzed up girly, pantywaist lawyer decides who the leaders of this country
should or shouldn’t be.
And then there’s Hillary, too.
Don’t you think her status as a genius, lawyer, business board of director
(Wal~Mart), first lady of Arkansas, two time first lady of the USA, Co-President, and
Senator, would give her the ethics if not the legal back round to not collude with
other candidates about ridding themselves of competitors?
But there’s more.
At the above mentioned forum, when Edwards approached Hillary to propose his
plan to stifle half the candidates, Obama and Kucinich came over to pay their
respects. Instead of bringing either of those in on the conversation, Edwards and
Hillary intentionally veiled their conversation.
“Everyone in politics lies, but they (Clintons) do it with such
ease…” Former Clinton Supporter, David Geffen
Hillary’s behavior was especially chilling.
In a made for a Republican campaign commercial moment, she talks to Edwards
about kicking the Kucinich’s of the party out then turns to shake Dennis’s hand. In
less than a second, she’s back talking with Edwards about how they’re going to rid
themselves of Dennis and the rest of the second tier candidates.
The soon to be exiled includes Governor Bill Richardson, and Senators Chris
Dodd, Joe Biden, and Mike Gravel.
Tony Soprano felt more emotion arranging for hits, and those were from outside his
family. Apparently it’s okay with Dems that their leaders devour their own.
I’m not a Dennis Kucinich fan.
His positions are ridiculous.
That being said, I believe he comes by his delusions honestly. That’s as opposed
to the fraudulent expediency of Hillary and Edwards game of “What will they buy
today?”
Kucinich has demanded an apology from Hillary and Edwards. As yet none has
been forthcoming.
Then Kucinich reversed himself and agreed to the proposal. He said, “I accept their
offer to participate in a debate with just the two of them. John (Edwards) should be
happy with this, since he wants a smaller group.”
Way to go Dennis. My respect for you just doubled.
Know the difference between a parade and a charade.
All this begs the question. If Hillary and Edwards are so comfortable cutting off the
rights of fellow Democratic Party Candidates, and trying to rob the country of free
elections in their own primaries, what can the average American expect if either is
elected?
Want more horrors? What if they run on the same ticket?
With Bill, Hill and Eddie, there will be one heck of ménage de trios…political or
otherwise. There’ll be more gender bending than a slinky going down Haight-
Asbury in San Francisco.
If Democrats are set on stepping on talk radio, they may want to start with the
example of their own party. It should be a prerequisite for any attempt in tampering
with the First Amendment…the only”Fairness Doctrine” this country needs.
